LET’S GET YOU BACK OUT THERE!
Neurofeedback (EEG Biofeedback)
Harness Your Brain's Potential
Neurofeedback is a ground-breaking non-invasive method used to teach your brain to self-regulate and optimize its performance. By improving positive interaction between areas in the brain, we can help enhance cognition, reduce anxiety, and manage numerous other health issues.
UNDERSTANDING NEUROFEEDBACK- How It Works
Neurofeedback involves monitoring your brainwaves through sensors placed on your scalp. This real-time data allows us to understand your brain's activity. When irregular patterns are detected, we provide feedback through visual or auditory signals, guiding your brain to adjust towards healthier patterns.
The Benefits
Neurofeedback has a wide range of applications. It is a gentle but powerful modality used for correcting concerns associated with traumatic brain injuries, improving focus, correcting insomnia, reducing anxiety, alleviating headaches, broadening perspectives, and much more.
OUR PROCESS
Assessment
Every neurofeedback journey at Weekend Warrior Health begins with a comprehensive assessment. An assessment includes a health history, discussion of current concerns, and a recording of your brain via a 19 electrode cap with reference ear clips.
After the recording, we remove the cap and ear clips and you are ready to go home.
Personalized Neurofeedback Sessions
After your first neurofeedback assessment, I analyze the recording and create a report for us to go over during our next session which will be followed by your first training session.
Your training sessions are tailored to address your specific complaints. Each session aims to train your brain towards healthier patterns of functioning, and you'll likely start noticing improvements within five sessions. Feedback with be auditory and/or visual. If you are suffering from a traumatic brain injury I will begin our session with auditory feedback only and our sessions will only be once a week. Those not suffering from brain injuries will likely do trainings twice a week.
An EEG cap will be placed on your head at every session so that real time monitoring is acquired while you are training. This practice allows for changes to be made during each training session.
You will find many neurofeedback providers quoting the need for 20 to 40 sessions. This suggestion is regarding single electrode placement. We are using a cap with 19 electrodes so you often need fewer sessions to achieve your goals.
Ongoing Support
Our care doesn't end when your session does. We'll provide tools and strategies to help you maintain and continue your progress at home, encouraging ongoing brain health and well-being.

Heart Rate variability Biofeedback
Improving HRV decreases cardiovascular risk factors, decreases stress, and improves the digestive processes where states of high stress have created a state of indigestion.
Assessment
An ear clip of finger clip is applied. A baseline recording is taken with your normal breath pattern.
HRV training session
I will teach you a technique to improve your heart rate variability and you will receive visual and/or auditory feedback to signify how you are doing.
